Employees at a Salt Lake City Xerox store were bugged by more than an ornery customer this week.

Utah's Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration office received two complaints about bug bites from the staff at the 675 E. 500 South store. The employees went to a worker's compensation clinic, where at least a portion of them were diagnosed with flea bites, said Utah's OSHA Director Scott McKenzie, who added that he heard of the diagnoses second-hand.

McKenzie was not aware of how many employees suffered bites.

The store has started spraying for insects, which keeps it within OSHA compliance.
