Salt Lake City police have released security camera images in hopes that the public can help them bring a bank robber to justice.

The holdup occurred about 3 p.m. Thursday at the Key Bank, 1500 S. Foothill Drive, when the suspect — a 6-foot, 190-pound white male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, dark sweatpants and a white scarf over his face — approached a teller.

He demanded and received an unspecified amount of cash, stuffed it into a dark-colored shoulder bag and then fled the bank on foot.
