Unified Police are seeking a suspect in multiple automobile thefts and have released images from a security camera in hopes the public will help locate the man.

UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal said the suspect — a white man in his mid-20s, of medium build with brown facial hair and wearing a checkered coat, blue jeans and red-laced sneakers and a black "beanie" style hat with the letter "B" on it — is sought in at least two and possibly more thefts.

Both of the vehicles stolen on Jan. 9 were Honda Civic sedans, one stolen in Midvale and another found a few days later abandoned in Kearns.

"Detectives are investigating to see if this same suspect is involved in other vehicle thefts," Hoyal said.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the UPD at 385-468-9349.
