Olympic favorite photo: A family's jubilation

Even though there is more than a week left in the Olympics, I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favorite pictures during my time in Russia.

When I got to the Sanki Sliding Center, I positioned myself near Noelle Pikus-Pace's family in hopes that, win or lose, she would react toward them. When it was clear she had secured the silver medal, she exploded with joy and climbed up the 8-foot spectator railing to be with her family.

I was in the perfect position to capture this emotional scene. I love the various expressions of happiness with everyone in the picture.
