Utah's Kristiina Rove and Mark Engel earned victories in both the women's and men's slaloms on Saturday, paving the way for the Utes to claim the RMISA Championship and NCAA West Regional, beating out defending NCAA champion Colorado by four points.
Utah finished with 640 points in events held at Beaver Creek and Minturn, Colo., while the Buffaloes had 636 points. New Mexico (617.5) was third, followed by Denver (578.5) and Montana State (445).

Utah 5, Indiana 4 (15) • Cory Hunt's two-out single to left-center in the bottom of the 15th inning scored Max Schuman, giving the Utes a marathon win in their latest Pac-12/Big Ten matchup. It was Hunt's second RBI of the game.
UT San Antonio 7, BYU 1 • At Corpus Christi, Texas, the Cougars surrendered two homers and five doubles in falling to the Roadrunners at the Kleberg Bank Classic. Dillon Robinson had an RBI single for BYU.
SLCC 10, Southern Nevada 4 • At Henderson, Nev., pinch-hitter Zach Willis' two-RBI double turned the tide for the Bruins at the Preseason SWAC Tournament.
Softball
SLCC def. Southern Nevada 9-2, 12-10 • Megan Bradshaw went 3 for 4 with three RBIs in the opening 9-2 win, and Megan Reed was 3 for 5 with seven RBIs in the 12-10 nightcap victory, as the Bruins swept the doubleheader in Taylorsville.
SUU splits two games • After opening Saturday's play at the GCU Invitational in Phoenix with a 10-4 loss to host Grand Canyon, the T-birds ended their six-game losing streak with 8-4 victory over Nevada.
