If you're reading this, you probably love Utah Gov. Gary Herbert*.

According to the Washington Post's Sean Sullivan and Aaron Blake, Utah's top man is the nation's most popular, though non-Utahns "probably haven't heard of him," according to the headline.

Herbert serves on the executive committee of the National Governors Association, which provided the occasion for the Post's plaudit by hosting its winter meeting over the weekend in Washington.

The Post cites a recent Dan Jones poll that found 73 percent support Herbert, writing, "Yes, this was the reddest state in the 2012 election, but Herbert's popularity even outpaces his predecessors."

Ah, but does it? A 2009 survey conducted by Dan Jones & Associates found that Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. enjoyed approval from 90 percent of Utahns. According to the Deseret News, that tied a record set by Gov. Mike Leavitt in 1996.

Herbert's press team linked to the Post's story Monday. Because duh.
