Four teenagers Tuesday ran away from a youth work camp run by Juvenile Justice Services.

The four boys — ages 18, 17, 16 and 15 — left the Genesis Youth Center just after 7 p.m., according to Department of Human Services spokeswoman Elizabeth Sollis. Police suspect the teens may be making their way to their families' homes in Sandy, Draper, Lehi and Vernal, respectively.

Three of the teenagers are white and have dark brown hair, while the fourth is Latino and has black hair. All four teenagers were wearing dark green sweatshirts and basketball shoes when the left. Three of them wore dark green shorts, and a fourth wore green sweatpants.

Police were actively searching for the boys Tuesday.

The Genesis Youth Center is work camp in Draper for juvenile offenders. The center has both residential and nonresidential programs.

Anyone with information about the missing teenagers is urged to call their local police agency.
