One person was killed and four others injured in a weather-related head-on crash Tuesday morning in Spanish Fork Canyon.

Killed was 34-year-old Clinton Lee Logan, of Springville, Utah.

At about 8 a.m., Logan was driving westbound on US Highway 6, about six miles west of Soldiers Summit, when his Honda Civic was struck by an eastbound Infinity carrying two adults and two children, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.

The driver of the Infinity was attempting to pass a semi truck when snow and slush on the roadway obscured the driver's vision, the UHP said.

An air ambulance was called but could not land due to weather. All five victims were transported to Mountain View Hospital in Payson, the UHP said.
