Sportsmen's expo opens Thursday in Sandy

The annual International Sportsmen's Exposition opens its four-day run Thursday at noon at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy.

The event bills itself as Utah's largest collection of fishing, hunting and outdoor products, sportfishing boats and travel destinations. It includes contests and 100 free seminars.

Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Ticket prices are $12 at the door. For information, log on to www.sportsexpos.com.
