Salt Lake City's People's Market has a new name.

The summer outdoor market held on Sundays near the International Peace Gardens at 1000 S. 900 West, Salt Lake City, will henceforth be called the 9th West Farmer's Market, organizers have announced.

The 9th West Farmer's Market will run Sundays, starting May 11 and through Oct. 19.

For those who can't wait until May, there's a mini-market — featuring many of the market's summer vendors — Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Sorenson Unity Center, 1383 S. 900 West, Salt Lake City.
