Four teenagers went to the hospital Friday after they were thrown from an all-terrain vehicle.

About 5:38 p.m., the four friends were riding the ATV in a neighborhood of Enterprise, a township in Morgan County, when they took a turn and lost control of the ATV, said Morgan County sheriff's Sgt. Scott Peay.

They were not wearing helmets, Peay said.

A 13-year-old boy suffered severe head injuries and was flown in critical condition to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. A 14-year-old girl was also flown to the same hospital with serious injuries, Peay said.

Another 13-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl went to McKay-Dee Hospital Center in Ogden with non-life threatening injuries, the sergeant added.
