Utah Summer Youth Conservation Corps jobs available at Bear River

Teens 15 to 18 years of age looking to get some valuable work experience in the great outdoors can volunteer to be a member of the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge's Youth Conservation Corps this summer.

The nationwide program that is part of the Departments of the Interior and Agriculture is designed to get the nation's youths outside, learn about conservation, experience public lands and gain work experience.

Application for the jobs, which will run from June 16 through Aug. 8 and pay minimum wage, are due to the refuge by April 12. Six positions are available. At Bear River, projects include trail maintenance and creation, wildlife surveys and invasive plant control.
