Three summer shows: Spearhead, Austin Mahone, Rebelution

Get out your calendars: There are three big concerts just announced for Utah this summer.

Here they are, in chronological order:

• The Soulshine tour, which mixes music with yoga, will play Thursday, July 3, at the Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City.

The concert portion is headlined by the hip-hop/funk/rock band Michael Franti & Spearhead.

Also on the bill: reggae band Soja, folk/pop singer-songwriter Brett Dennen and reggae/folk singer Trevor Hall.

Before the show is a 90-minute yoga session, with instructors for all levels.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. The yoga session starts at 4 p.m.

Tickets — $25 to $50 for the concert, $35 to $60 for the concert and yoga session, and $20 for just the yoga — are on sale now at Smith's Tix.

• Teen pop singer Austin Mahone turns 18 today — and he celebrated his new adulthood by announcing a 26-city tour presented by MTV.

Mahone's tour will land Wednesday, August 6, at the Maverik Center, 3200 S. Decker Lake Dr., West Valley City.

Mahone will be touring in support of his first album, "The Secret," which will hit stores on May 27. The tour starts July 25 in Mahone's hometown of San Antonio, Texas.

Also on the bill are British rock band The Vamps, girl group Fifth Harmony and Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.

Tickets will go on sale next Friday, April 11; details to be announced.

• Rebelution, the rock/world/reggae band that boasts "positive, upbeat music and sense of community and collaboration," will bring its "Count Me In" summer tour to Utah.

The show happens at Saltair, 12408 W. Saltair Dr., Magna, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 22.

The band's new album, "Count Me In," arrives in stores June 10.

Also on the bill are three reggae acts: Iration, The Green and Stick Figure.
