Some time ago, a famous French queen said with the same contempt and flippancy, "If they, the masses, have no bread, let them eat cake."
Besides both arguments being false analogies comparing necessities (bread and health care) with luxuries (cake and Porsches), these arguments are also wild exaggerations and basically heartless.
And we know how Marie Antoinette's countrymen responded to her.
