Some people complain about getting a ticket for not parking closer to the curb. I urge them to review their Drivers Handbook. The problem with people in Utah is they want to make up their own rules, or think it is no big deal. It's pretty easy to avoid a ticket by getting your wheels in the gutter.
Rules are set up so everybody has the same understanding of the requirements of operating a motor vehicle. Now if we could get the same enforcement when it comes to those lazy people who find it necessary to park in front of a store creating issues with pedestrians entering and exiting and motorists trying to get around them, or parking in handicapped zones without the proper tags.
As the old saying goes, "Give people an inch, and they will eventually take a mile."
