University of Utah police are looking for a suspicious man who followed a student to her car late Tuesday night and tried to open her car door.

The student left the Marriott Library about 11 p.m. and went to her car in the west parking lot. As she got into her car, a man wearing a ski mask, scarf, dark hoodie and sweats approached the car and tried to open the driver door, which was locked. The student honked the car horn and drove away. The man, startled, fled toward the field house.
