As Utah weather and faith go, it will truly be a Good Friday.

Temperatures on the day ushering in the Easter weekend were expected to climb into the low-70s under partly cloudy skies along the Wasatch Front, a forecast nearly mirroring that for Thursday.

Southern Utahns looked for sunny skies turning partly cloudy on Friday with the mercury soaring into the low-80s.

The Utah Division of Air Quality graded breathability at "green," or healthy for all state monitoring stations heading toward the weekend.

However, it was a mixed bag of pollens for allergy sufferers with the Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website on Thursday ranking cedar at "very high" levels, oak and maple as "high" and sycamore at "moderate."

So, before you and the kids head out for that Easter egg hunt, you might want to double check your bags for those inhalers and allergy medications.
