Impacts of the 2014 legislative session on Utah business owners will be analyzed Wednesday at a Vest Pocket Business Coalition meeting.
The coalition, which works to strengthen Utah's independent entrepreneurial culture through advocacy, education and social connections, will convene at 7:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake Chamber offices, 175 E. 400 South, 6th Floor.
Evaluating the session will be former legislator Frank Pignanelli, a Democrat who is now an attorney, lobbyist and political consultant; LaVarr Webb, a political consultant and lobbyist who was a policy deputy for former Gov. Mike Leavitt; and Jeremy Keele, a senior policy adviser and director of government relations for Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams.
The event costs $10 for coalition members, $15 for non-members. Registration may be arranged at http://www.vestpocket.org.
