Four of Utah's homegrown Olympic and Paralympic medalists will appear Tuesday at a news conference and photo opportunity, and the public is invited to the 4:30 p.m. event on the main concourse of EnergySolutions Arena.

Steven Holcomb, Ted Ligety, Sage Kotsenburg and Keith Gabel are scheduled to participate after winning medals in the Sochi Winter Games. Another medalist, Utah resident Chris Creveling, also will attend, along with Sarah Hendrickson, who became the first women's ski jumping contestant in Olympic history.

The homecoming event is part of the Governor's State of Sport Awards, staged later Tuesday by the Utah Sports Commission.
