Letter: Abolish divorce for families' sake

So children raised in a family that doesn't have both a mother and a father are at risk? In my long life, the number of such incomplete families is overwhelmingly dominated by families disrupted by divorce.
If sociological research supports my limited sampling, then the above argument suggests that we should abolish divorce!
