A few years ago, I attended a Salt Lake traffic class with about 300 drivers who received tickets. The lecturer asked a question, "What is the biggest complaint about Utah drivers?" I raised my hand and answered, "Those who drive slowly in the passing lane."
The director said that I was absolutely correct. I continue to experience those who for whatever reasons drive slowly in the left lane. It would be nice and effective if the Utah municipalities and the Highway Patrol would conduct some campaigns about how those driving slower than existing traffic should move over to the right lane. I'll make a deal with all Utah drivers: Stop driving slowly in the left lane, and I'll stop passing on the right.
