Two Salt Lake City motorcycle patrol officers injured in a Thursday night collision with a car were released from the hospital on Friday.

Both officers were transported to a local hospital in stable condition after the crash.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the driver who hit the officers is ongoing.

Three motorcycle officers were westbound on 500 South when a car changed lanes between 200 and 300 East and struck two of the motorcycles at about 6 p.m., police said.

Detective Cody Lougy said the driver, who was not injured, said she did not see the motorcycle riders.
