Veteran Utah prep basketball coach Lyndon Johnson has been named to replace Chad Sims as the boys' team's head man at Northridge High next year, where he will also teach.

Johnson had served as the head coach at Brighton and Roy, before leaving public education for the private sector. He plans to teach at Northridge as well as coach basketball.

"He has a good reputation," said Northridge principal Luke Rasmussen. "Chad Sims was also great. We want to continue what we have been doing."
