How does an amusement park that's 128 years old try to look hip and cool while still giving off a wholesome vibe?
The Farmington park Lagoon does it by finding the coolest wholesome person Utah knows: Neon Trees drummer (and devout Mormon) Elaine Bradley.
Bradley features prominently in Lagoon's new ad campaign, which shows her and a kid having a fun time at the park and Bradley gradually looking more glam and rocker-like.
The ad's tagline: "Be Somebody's Rockstar."
"The campaign is equal parts nostalgia and discovery, paying homage to its past but also introducing the park to a new generation of thrill-seekers," a publicist's statement reads. "Elaine is the perfect embodiment of the new image Lagoon is trying to portray. A Utah native, Elaine grew up frequenting Lagoon and now does the same with her kids in tow."
