Nearly 850 students to graduate from Snow College

10 a.m. Saturday • Snow College will hold commencement ceremonies at its main Ephraim campus in the Horne Activity Center. Students chose the speaker, physical education department Department Chair Robert Trythall, who has worked at the junior college for 37 years, according to a Snow statement.

Student speakers will be valedictorian Kelsey Kelsch, who plans to go to pharmacy school at the University of Utah, and general education graduate Susan P. Williams. The Richfield campus speaker at Friday's commencement ceremonies was Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox, a Snow alum.

The 843 graduates come from seven countries and 18 states and more than 60 percent are women.

Tickets are free but required.
