McGill is regarded as a second round pick by CBS Sports and has been selected anywhere from the second round to third round in several mock drafts. The Utah Senior is receiving a boost because of his size, standing at 6-feet 3-inches and 211 pounds according to NFL Combine measurements, reminiscent of Seattle All-Pro Richard Sherman.
After watching tape of McGill against both Colorado and Washington State, here are my observations on his strengths and weaknesses:
Strength: Excels in breaking up pass plays near and behind the line of scrimmage
Several times in both games, McGill sniffed out a short passing play and came up to either deflect the pass or quickly wrap up the receiver.
