In 12 years, Rowland Hall softball coach Kathy Howa has raised more than $1 million for cancer research and awareness through her foundation, Swing For Life.

On Saturday, 25 high school teams competed in the annual softball tournament at the Cottonwood Softball Complex, despite the event being postponed a week for weather.

In the video above, Howa talks about what still drives her and her goals, while Jen Tucker from the Huntsman Cancer Institute talks about the influence of Swing For Life.
