Cedar City police are looking for a knife-wielding robber who held up a convenience store on Friday.

CCPD spokesman Jimmy Roden said the suspect — described as a white male in his 20s, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans — hit the KB Express at 1944 N Main Street about 5:30 a.m.

The suspect entered the store, went behind the counter, pulled a knife and demanded the clerk open the cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the till and then fled the store.

Roden said the suspect was last seen driving away in a four-door, silver Honda sedan.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call CCPD at 435-586-2956.
