South Jordan police are reaching out to the public for assistance in bringing those responsible for vandalizing a housing development to justice.

SJPD spokesman Samuel Winkler said Tuesday that the unknown suspects struck overnight, spray-painting nearly a dozen structures, as well as park and walkway facilities and one vehicle, at the East Lake Model Home Village in Daybreak.

The development is located in the area of 4700 West and 10600 South.

Winkler said damage estimates were still being compiled, but likely will prove costly enough to warrant felony-level prosecution of the perpetrators.
