South Jordan police have released security camera images of two male suspects believed responsible for vandalizing a housing development.
SJPD spokesman Samuel Winkler said that the two, who appear to be teenagers, struck late Sunday night, spray-painting racist and homophobic slurs on nearly a dozen structures, as well as park and walkway facilities and one vehicle, at the East Lake Model Home Village in Daybreak.
The development is located in the area of 4700 West and 10600 South.
Winkler said damage estimates were still being compiled, but likely will prove costly enough to warrant felony-level prosecution of the perpetrators.
