Reno, Nev. • Andy Marte's solo home run in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and helped propel the Reno Aces to a 5-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees, who have lost a franchise-record 11 straight games.
Salt Lake is 0-9 in day games.
Marte, who played in 26 games for the Bees last season, had three hits and scored twice.
The Bees took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, when Brennan Boesch doubled and later scored. Drew Heid's RBI triple in the fourth inning gave Salt Lake a 2-1 lead, but it was the last time they would lead.
