StorageCraft Technology Corp. was to break ground Friday on a new corporate headquarters in the Draper Point business park, 375 Galena Park Blvd., Draper.

When it is completed, the new facility will enable the provider of backup and disaster recovery software and services to expand its Draper work force from about 170 to about 400 employees, StorageCraft said in a news release.

Built by Jacobson Construction, it will be 75,000 square feet initially but can be expanded to 125,000 square feet, the company said.

Founded in Utah in 2003, StorageCraft also has a new international headquarters in Cork, Ireland, which opened in October 2013.

Gardner Co. will develop and manage StorageCraft's new Draper facility.
