Namon Wright will be a Missouri Tiger.
Thank you to all the coaches who've been apart of this process, but I'm a Tiger baby. I've decided to re-commit to the ZOU!

Wright, rated a four-star shooting guard by both Rivals and Scout, obtained permission from Missouri to look around after the Tigers hired new coach Kim Anderson. It seemed natural that Utah would have interest, given that they had previously offered and that Wright is close to current Ute point guard Brandon Taylor, a fellow Pacific Hills High alum.
Indeed, the Runnin' Utes hosted Wright on a visit this week, but evidently it wasn't enough to sway him from his original commitment. Attempts to reach Wright and his high school coach were unsuccessful.
The Utes still have a free scholarship that they can award for the 2014-15 season.
Even if they don't add another player, things are looking up for the Utes.
