TRAX vs. car crash in Salt Lake City causes delays

A TRAX versus car collision at 800 South and 200 West was cleared less than an hour after it occurred, but residual delays were expected into the afternoon on Friday.

All trains were running by 2:34 p.m, but UTA officials warned riders to expect delays up to 15 minutes until about 3:30 p.m..

The crash occurred at 1:50 p.m.

UTA spokesman Remi Barron called the crash "minor" and said the two people in the car were not transported to hospitals.
