Two young men were critically injured in a Holladay motorcycle crash.

Early Sunday, Levi Kushlan, 21, and Paul Seeger, 19, were heading west when their motorcycle apparently failed to make a turn and crashed near 4800 S. Bonair Street, said Unified Police Detective Jared Richardson.

One of the young men was able to call his father, who found the two at the crash scene and called for help about 1:26 a.m., Richardson said.

Seeger, who had not been wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries to his head and back, Richardson said. As of 11:20 a.m., Seeger is on life-support, the detective said.

Kushlan was also hospitalized in critical condition, but has been stabilized and went into surgery.

Police are still investigating why they crashed, and believe alcohol may have contributed.
