Keith Nellesen has been named CEO of NUVI, a social analytics management and engagement company based in Lindon.

He replaces David Oldham, who a news release said will become a member of the company's board.

Nellesen specializes in growing startup companies, according to the release. He co-founded and was president until 2012 of Provo-based Vivint, a home security, home automation and energy conservation company, before Blackstone acquired it for $2 billion.

"Starting NUVI and leading the company past the stages of growth where most startups fail has been a very rewarding experience," Oldham, who founded the company, said in the release. "I am confident that NUVI will continue its aggressive growth trajectory, and I look forward to supporting the management team in my role on the company board."
