Utah midweek forecast: Warm, sunny and occasional breezes

Utah's midweek forecast of warm, sunny skies caressed by breezes may be a bittersweet reminder that everybody's working for the weekend, and everyone wants you to come through.

The '80s rock band Loverboy offered that advice. And if the late comic Chris Farley could take it, hey, so can you.

Thursday's weather predictions are for highs approaching 80 degrees along the Wasatch Front with the sun breaking through the clouds , a few degrees warmer than the forecast for Wednesday of upper-70s and winds of 10-20 mph.

Southern Utahns looked for highs in the mid-80s on Thursday under partly cloudy skies, about 5 degrees warmer than a breezy, sunny Wednesday.

The Utah Division of Air Quality hoisted its "green," or healthy air quality banners statewide heading into the latter part of this week.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website's pollen index was "high" for oak and grass and "moderate" for mold, cedar and mulberry.
