As the media continues to report on the disappearance of the Malaysian Airlines flight 370, questions are being asked about what ultimately happened to the plane and how aviation can be changed to create safer travel for people in the world.

Automobiles produced in the last five years are equipped with standard technology to alert the authorities if the vehicle's air bags are deployed, yet a plane carrying nearly 300 passengers can disappear, while on a routine flight, and no one is able to locate it.

I believe that the future of aviation is going to entail more technology and more safety devices to locate commercial aircraft at all times to make sure this type of incident never happens again.
