Swire Coca-Cola acquires two Colorado territories

The franchise territory covered by Draper-based Swire Coca-Cola USA has been expanded to include Denver and Colorado Springs, Colo.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed Tuesday by Swire Coca-Cola's parent company, Swire Pacific Limited. But Swire Coca-Cola spokesman Jamie Neerings said the expanded territory will increase the population served by his company from 6.2 million to 10.7 million.
"Leveraging the new operating model will enable us to continue serving the needs of our consumers effectively," said Jack Pelo, President & CEO, Swire Coca-Cola USA.
