A Colorado company, East West Resorts, will be the new homeowners association manager of the Grand Summit Hotel at Canyons Resort outside Park City.

An executive committee for about 600 property owners who are part of the hotel's homeowners association picked East West to maintain the hotel, which still will be operated by Vail Hospitality. The Grand Summit has a four diamond rating from AAA.

East West has more than 25 years of experience operating upscale resort properties, including Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek in Colorado and luxury vacation rentals at Northstar resort in California.

Vail Resorts, Inc. operates Canyons Resort as well as Beaver Creek and Northstar.

East West's contract begins July 1. Hospitality industry veteran Dale Stetson will be homeowners association manager.

In his 30-year career, Stetson has held similar positions in Breckenridge, Colo. and Big Sky/Moonlight Basin, Mont. He also has been on-site manager for more than 20 condominium associations.
