Four-car crash reported in Tooele County

The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating a four-vehicle crash in Tooele County.

Details about the crash remained scarce Saturday night after the vehicles collided on eastbound Interstate 80 near State Road 201, according to the UHP. Two people were reportedly ejected, though their conditions were not immediately available, said UHP spokesman Jesse Valenzuela.

Investigators suspect that an impaired driver caused the accident and tried to flee the scene, according to the UHP. A trooper took the driver into custody.

The crash also blocked all of the eastbound lanes.
