Mountainside fire contained in Utah County

Firefighters have contained a mountainside fire near Eagle Mountain.

Unified Fire Authority, Saratoga Springs, Lehi and Utah County firefighters extinguished an at least 2-acre fire that was south of the ranches on Lake Mountain. The fire was first reported about 3:34 p.m. Saturday.

Smoke from the fire is visible from Kiowa Valley and SilverLake area, according to a tweet from Eagle Mountain City.

At 5:52 p.m., the city announced that the fire had been contained.

The cause is still under investigation.
