A teenage boy is expected to recover after accidentally shooting himself in the leg.
The 14-year-old reportedly found a 22-caliber revolver somewhere his parent told police that they don't have guns in the house and he wound up shooting himself in the leg Sunday, said West Valley City Police Lt. Lamont Cox. Police received a call about the accidental shooting about 6:36 p.m.
The boy was taken to the hospital, where they found the bullet had gone "through and through," Cox said.
