Most people would think Derek Fisher could succeed as an NBA head coach at some point. Fisher is a five time NBA Champion, leading teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and recently playing as a role model for the Oklahoma City Thunder, shepherding young players and MVP's alike to glory.

With the news that Fisher will accept the New York Knicks job, it's a good time to bring up the ESPN SportsNation poll on if fans believe he'll have success as an NBA coach.

Utah stands as a big red mark in a dominantly blue nation, still holding a grudge after Fisher asked out of his contract to go back to the Lakers in 2007 to help fight his daughter's eye cancer.

Seven years removed from opting out of his contract, the signs are there that Jazz fans remain bitter, including a poll the Tribune posted last month that named Fisher as the second most disliked person in Utah sports history behind former BYU quarterback Max Hall.

Tell us above what you think. Will Fisher succeed with the Knicks? Or was it a mistake to hire him?
