Going from walk-on to potential All-American, senior Rosalie Waller is the lone Ute at this year's track and field championships in Eugene, Ore.

Waller will run in Wednesday night's 800 meter semifinals (5:45 p.m.), airing online at ESPN3. If she advances, she'll run in Friday's final (6:25 p.m.).

The Bountiful High product boasts the 10th-fastest time in the nation this season (2:04.76), but to become an All-American she'll need to finish in the top eight, or at least top eight among American competitors.

It's Waller's first trip to the NCAA championships. She finished second at the Pac-12 Championships in Pullman, Wash.
