U. hires new diversity leader

The University of Utah's Office for Equity and Diversity has hired Franci Taylor as its new director of the American Indian Resource Center.

Taylor, a member of the Choctaw tribe, joins the U. after serving as the Native American Retention Counselor at Washington State University.

Taylor starts July 1, and the campus community will be invited to welcome her with a reception at the resource center.
