Lawmakers try to fix the backlog of unprocessed rape kits, at least temporarily. Bluffdale withdraws from the State Records Committee and creates its own, a move open government proponents decry. And a Salt Lake City police deputy retires months after sexual harassment claims are filed against the officer.
