The Pillsbury Dough Boy would be a lot more than "poppin' fresh" under Utah's sunny skies as the work week got underway.

Think of an over-baked croissant, and you might have it right: temperatures along the Wasatch Front on Tuesday, mirroring Monday's forecast, were to reach 90 degrees. Along the state's southern reaches, the mercury was to climb into triple-digits.

Nothing to giggle a "Hoo-Hoo!" about, unless you take precautions like generously applying sunblock lotion, donning a sun hat and drinking plenty of water while under the sun's rays.

The Utah Division of Air Quality gave "yellow," or compromised air quality grades for most of the state as the week began, with only Box Elder, Cache, Tooele and Carbon counties getting "green," or healthy ratings.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website listed only mold at "high" levels with grass and plantain pollen at "moderate" levels.
