3 Utahns make finals of 'So You Think ..

Utahns continue to do extraordinarily well on the Fox reality/competition series "So You Think You Can Dance." This season's 20 finalists were revealed in Wednesday's episode, and three of them are from the Beehive State.

That's a lot from a state with only about .9 percent of the U.S. population, but it's not anything new when it comes to "SYTYCD."

Utahns have made the finals in eight of the 10 previous seasons, including one in Seasons 5 and 8; two in Season 2; three in Seasons 6, 9 and 10; and four in Season 4. Utahn Sabra Johnson won the title of "America's favorite dancer" in Season 3.

And the state is still over-represented in the current Season 11, with three more locals among the 20 finalists. The latest Utah finalists on "So You Think You Can Dance" are:

Tanisha Belnap - a 20-year-old ballroom dancer from Payson. She auditioned in New Orleans.

Brooklyn Fullmer - an 18-year-old Latin ballroom dancers from Provo. She also auditioned in New Orleans.

Marcquet Hill - an 18-year-old ballroom dancer from South Jordan. And he also auditioned in New Orleans.

Those three, along with the other 17 finalists, will perform on the next episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" on Wednesday, July 2, at 7 p.m. on Fox/Ch. 13.
