Can't stand the rain 'gainst your window? Prepare for some sweeter meteorlogical memories: Utah's weekend forecast calls for more typical summer weather.

The classic soul songstress Anne Peebles would love it. The Wasatch Front looked for highs Saturday and Sunday in the mid- to upper-80s under mostly clear skies after Friday's forecast for thunderstorms and rain showers with daytime highs in the low- to mid-70s.

Southern Utahns expected triple-digit temperatures this weekend under clear, sunny skies, up a few degrees from Friday's forecast highs.

The Utah Division of Air Quality generally gave "yellow," or compromised air quality grades to the state's urban areas through the weekend. Only Cache, Duchesne, Uintah, Box Elder, Tooele and Carbon counties got "green," or healthy ratings.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website listed mold at "high" and grass and plantain at "moderate" for allergen levels.
